Singapore Green Plan 2030
National framework enabling multiple sector-specific incentives
Administered by Whole-of-Government (multi-agency) · Window: 2021-02-10 → 2030-12-31
Support type
National sustainability framework
The Singapore Green Plan 2030 is the country's whole-of-government sustainability agenda. It does not itself disburse funds, but it is the umbrella under which specific incentives — HVZES, EHVCG, EVCA, industrial decarbonisation grants — are designed and coordinated. Property owners and fleet operators pursuing electrification are aligned with the Green Plan's objectives.
Who qualifies
- · Not a direct grant scheme — a national policy framework
- · Aligned initiatives may qualify for ESG-linked finance (green loans, sustainability-linked facilities)
- · Institutional lenders and REIT investors increasingly reference Green Plan alignment in transition-risk assessments
How to apply
- 1. There is no direct application for the Green Plan itself
- 2. Apply for specific programmes within it: HVZES, EHVCG, CVES, EVCA-compliant developments
- 3. Green Plan alignment may support applications for ESG-linked finance from participating banks and lenders
Caps and window
Framework runs through 2030 with periodic review of specific programmes. Individual schemes have their own windows and caps.
Notes
Green Plan is context, not cash — but it is the reason many of the other grants exist. It also increasingly shapes how ESG-linked capital gets allocated.
