EHVCG Open

Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant

50% co-funding, capped at S$30,000 per charger

Administered by Land Transport Authority (LTA) · Window: 2026-01-01 → 2028-12-31

Support type

Co-funding of charger installation

Co-funds up to 50% of the installation cost of qualifying heavy-vehicle chargers, capped at S$30,000 per charger. Available for the first 500 chargers island-wide, with a per-site limit of three chargers.

Who qualifies

  • · Owners of premises installing qualifying heavy-vehicle chargers (typically DC fast-chargers rated for heavy-EV duty cycle)
  • · Chargers must meet the LTA-designated technical specification (typically aligned with TR 25:2022 / SS 722)
  • · Fleet depots, logistics estates, industrial estates, and public/shared charging sites all eligible in principle
  • · Per-site cap of three chargers under this scheme

How to apply

  1. 1. Confirm the charger model meets EHVCG technical specification before purchase
  2. 2. Confirm the installation site's electrical capacity — an EHVCG grant does not solve an upstream grid capacity constraint
  3. 3. Application administered through LTA — subject to first-come, first-served allocation up to 500 chargers island-wide
  4. 4. Grant is disbursed post-commissioning; owner funds the installation up-front and claims via LTA process

Caps and window

First 500 chargers island-wide. Once the cap is reached, EHVCG closes. Per-site limit of 3 chargers under the scheme.

Notes

EHVCG is the charger-side companion to HVZES. Fleets planning heavy-EV deployment should think of the two schemes together — vehicle incentive on one side, charger co-funding on the other.
